 IHOSY

Ihosy, Madagascar is a relatively new discovery, rearded for particolored sapphire crystals with mirror faces and elevated terminations.  If you find a "Pezzotta specimen:", it may have been found by Frecerico Pezzotta, Curator of the Natural History Museum, Milan, Italy, who is most closely associated with development of the site.

The crystal on the left is a Pezzotta specomen.  The large, levender one on the right is coated with a straw-like druze of sillismanite.
